Determining the causes of malfunctions, assessing the nature and extent of the repairs to be performed, determining the desired time of repair in consultation with the supervisor and machine operator and, if necessary, carrying out emergency repairs on the instructions of the supervisor; • testing overhauled/repaired machines/equipment; • making proposals for adjustments/improvements to tools and auxiliary equipment.
