Attero accepts and processes a wide range of mineral waste streams. In this respect, too, we work from the principle of recovering the maximum amount of raw materials from these streams. This also means that we clean contaminated streams, making them fit for use again. We recycle materials including rubble and contaminated soil and turn them into reusable raw materials and construction materials to be used in the concrete, road and water construction sector. We do this using several conventional and a number of unique mechanical separation techniques.
We have five processing sites spread throughout the north, east and south of the Netherlands. In addition, we can use our mobile cleaning, crushing, screening and sorting units for optimal waste stream management in redevelopment projects. Our acceptance and processing rates are very competitive.
Attero is a certified processor. We process your waste streams in conformity with SIKB BRL 7500-7510 and BRL 2506 and collect reusable soil in conformity with BRL 9335. Attero’s environmental management system is ISO 14001 certified. For our energy needs, we use 100% self-produced green energy at a number of our sites. On more and more closed landfill areas we develop solar parks to produce even more green electricity, starting with Wijster and Montfort. We are always working on innovative techniques to increase separation efficiency and minimise harmful emissions.
In addition, Attero accepts non-recyclable streams, such as asbestos, soil cleaning residue and technically non-combustible residues at its landfills in Tilburg, Landgraaf, Wilp and Wijster.
